Central Sterile Processing Techs

The 1199 Health & Employment Center is actively seeking qualified candidates interested in working either Full-Time, Part-Time or Temporary positions at " New York Presbyterian Hospital " one of our member institutions in Upper Manhattan . We are currently seeking a Central Sterile Processing Techs.

Duties:

Perform and participate in the decontamination, inspection, cleaning assembling and packaging of medical/surgical material to include, but not limited to, instruments and equipment according to established standards and procedures to ensure a sterile and functioning supply of materials.

Central Sterile Processing Tech Qualifications:

High School or GED required. CCS or ORT experience required. One year CSPD or ORT experience preferred. Heavy lifting and stocking of surgical materials (50lbs maximum).
